At our Council Meeting tomorrow, we will decide on whether or not to sign a 5 year agreement with Yellowhead County. It's for the renewal of the Community Development Master Agreement. 2012 Priorities - Strategic Planning At the end of November, council held it's annual Strategic Planning Session.  Council normally meets for a day and a half, planning for the year ahead, giving administration direction on the upcoming budget. Work in Progress A number of projects are underway in the Town of Edson.  You may have noticed construction on the south end of main street. Crews dug up the street to run a camera up the sewer line to ensure there are no problems before we start paving main street later this year.  Part of the sewer line at that location was also replaced.  Nothing is more frustrating than paving a street,

At last Tuesday night's council meeting, we approved our final 2010 budget and our capital projects for this year. The budget includes a 4.9% tax revenue increase.
